All Sales Are Final
ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND SERVICE FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE AFTER WORK, ASSIGNMENT, TRAVEL, OR A SERVICE ATTEMPT BEGINS, EXCEPT FOR ANY CANCELLATION, REFUND, OR OTHER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE WAIVED.
General Policy
Once an order is submitted and payment is received, the service fee is nonrefundable after work, assignment, travel, or a service attempt begins. This applies to all services offered by PD Legal Services, including Small Claims Filing, Superior Court Filing, California Small Claims Appearance, and Process Service, except for any cancellation, refund, or other rights that cannot legally be waived.
Process Service — Nonrefundable Upon Assignment or Attempt
Once a third-party process-serving vendor is assigned, travels to the location, performs authorized work, or makes a service attempt using the customer-provided information, the applicable service fee is earned and nonrefundable, except where otherwise required by law.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
An incorrect, incomplete, outdated, vacant, or unauthorized address supplied by the customer does not create a right to a refund after work or a service attempt begins, except where otherwise required by law. If a service address needs to be changed after a process-serving vendor has been assigned, a new service order is required for the corrected or different address.
Court Filing Fees
Court filing fees are set by the court and are separate from our service fees. Court filing fees paid to the court are subject to the court's own refund policies, which are outside our control.
Legally Required Rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any cancellation, refund, or other right that cannot legally be waived under applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund or cancellation right under applicable law, please contact us through our Contact page with your order number and the basis for your request.
Customer Acknowledgment
By submitting an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this All Sales Final Policy. You confirm that you understand service fees are nonrefundable after work, assignment, travel, or a service attempt begins, except for any rights that cannot legally be waived.
